Lately, this year, we had to write an Elevator Pitch. For our group's Elevator Pitch, we said "Hi, my name is _______ and I’m part of the V.A.N project. We spend our time making pillows for the cats and dogs in shelters. Many shelter animals, if you have noticed, will come with blankets when adopted. We believe that they deserve something nicer to sleep on. This is why we have decided to make pillows. The pillows are made out of recycled materials, such as sweatshirts and t-shirts.

Giving the animals something to sleep on will not only make their stay in the shelter less stressful, but it will also help them get adopted. A less stressed pet will be calmer; calmer pets are more likely to be adopted. We are selling our pillows as well as donating some. You can buy them at the art fair on the sixteenth or donate to our cause."
