So far, we don’t have much. We are still in need of stuffing and we only have one pillow made. We plan on, in the future, having at least twenty five pillows. We plan on donating to the Metro East Humane Society (MEHS) in Edwardsville, although we still have to ask them if they will accept the pillows. If they do not accept the pillows, we will sell the pillows and donate the money to MEHS. If they do not accept the money, although I do not think they wouldn’t, we can buy some dog and cat food and donate that. With the pillows, we are accepting of any stuffing donations that you might want to donate to our cause.

If you want to learn how to make a pillow out of a T-shirt, it’s really easy. First, you take any T-shirt (or any shirt for that matter. It won’t matter what type of shirt you use.) and cut off the sleeves. Then, you can cut out squares that are twice the size of the pillow you want. You don’t really need to do any cutting, the pillow will just be in the shape of a T- shirt. Sow all the sides of the shirt except one and fill it with stuffing, then sow up the last side of the pillow. (Instead of sowing, you could cut slits every inch and two inches into the pillow and tie the sides together, but this only works if you cut two squares out of the shirt to make the pillow. There is an example of this down below, although this was not made by us.)

Congratulations! You just made a pillow.

So far, we have taken in some large amounts of stuffing, assigned new jobs, and decided that we were going to sell pillows at the Art Fair that is going to be hosted by a different group in February.
